It sounds like whoever originally installed the SX set it up with loads of spare PLUs ready for future use, so they will keep printing until you reach the end.

Hi, If you turn the key to SP, then power off the machine, then hold down keys 4,5 & 6 whilst turning the power back on that should do the trick
