Hello,
We have bought non magnetic standard DALLAS Ibuttons from ebay. The epos has hardware test utility which shows that we can read the IButton.
However When i try to set a Ibutton for a clerk it will not accept the Ibutton.
Do we have to buy a specific brand of Ibuttons to work with ICR Touch 2021? Or do we have to configure these buttons to enable them some how.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
I have enabled ibutton for clerk and tried to add for clerk but it simply wont detect the button inside icrtouch.

It sounds like your IButton reader is not configured with the correct start and end sentinels, what hardware is it, and does the utility you have allow you to program the reader?
We bought the Ibutton from an ebay seller. I didnt realise that they were specific to the epos. I assumed they were generic hardware.
I dont have a utility to program these ibuttons and neither does the ebay seller.
Is there a generic utility that i can use? Or is there a register icrtouch seller website i can use to purchase the proper supported Ibuttons?

You don'r program the Ibuttons, you program the reader, non magnetic is a bit unusual these days, how is the reader connected?
We have a ZONAL epos machine. This has the reader already installed.
