Hi I have 3 X tx850 uniwell tills that I used in a club, I was very familiar with many aspects of the tills and when I closed the clubs in 2012 I kept the tills in my garage. I sold a few of them a few years ago and simply re soldered new battery's into them and they were fine.
I have just done the same to the remaining 3 units but no joy??
There is no red light now in the uniwel logo on the front.
They have been sitting in the garage for about 2 years in touchd.
Is there any hope.
The green led display on back of the till is illuminated but just several square boxes not a number in sight
I have no way of checking the battery's and they were new this week.
The positive side soldered to the left and Nuteral to the right as you face the till front screen.
Any one have any sugestions
They might just need a full RAM clear, but it sounds almost like the software has corrupted (which would need a dealer to reload) or you've got a much worse fault
