Hi,
I have read through the forum and solved most of my problems, but I need help with 1 issue on VAT.
I want the till to ADD the vat at 15% to the amount entered on department 1, so therefor when for example I enter £10.00 in to the till and then press Dept 1 I want the till to add £1.50 to give me a product price of £11.50. Is this possible. My print out is as follows

Try the following
Turn key to Z/PGM
1) 8
2) #/ST
3) 2
4) #/ST
5) #/ST
Try that with department 1 first. Usually by default all departments are set to taxable, so to disable that...
Turn key to Z/PGM
1) enter 0000007
2) X/TM
3) press department to set as non taxable, for departments 5 to 8 press shift first
4) #/ST

Please can you help me, I think I would like it to work a bit differently. I need
Dept 1 - Standard VAT at 15%
Dept 2 - Zero Vat
Dept 3 - Standard Vat at 15%
Dept 4 - Standard VAT at 15%
Dept 5 - Zero VAT
Dept 6 - Refund Standard VAT at 15%
Dept 7 - Refund Zero VAT
What we hope to do is enter the price on our menu which is VAT inclusive e.g. £5.00 and for the till roll to show the £4.35 + 65p VAT. Is that how it works? Please can you help, we have just gone VAT registered and are having a complete nightmare and reading so much stuff our minds have gone awol.....

P.S. Can you recommend a good upgrade to this till that will print VAT receipts and our company name but is still quite compact as space a real issue for us.
