Hi all,
I recently purchased a xn700 (second hand) for our shop. It is configured for standard touch screen use and works well. I now want to utilise the swipe card functionality but scratching my head as I cannot get it to work.
I have purchased a mag card writer and was wondering how:
1. I configure the xn700 to use the built in (on side of screen) swipe reader.
2. How to configure a mag card to work (i.e. when writing the card it prefixes the code with a "%" and suffix with a "?" [is this correct?])
3. How do I associate the card to a clerk? (is this the secret number???)
Sorry if this question seems a little naive but I am really struggling to get to grips! as the manual provided explains basic operation of the till and has no explaination of the swipe card reader for configuration.
Is there a manual I can purchase or if you could provide any assistance I would be eternally greatfully!
