Hi everyone, i have a problem i bought a used cash register but i cant get it to work

i have a omron drawer, omron display, omron printer and omron keyboard. everything is hooked up to an isa card ( rs jack i think, only the drawer is connectet differnt) The Problem is i dont even know if i hooked everything right up because i cant get the program on the machine (msdos) to work. It always says printer not connected. can someone help me? Or give me a test programm where i atleast can see if i conencted it right?
