Hello,

Our base uniwell KP unit has decided to pack in. I've replaced it with a zonal kp unit, however the till is refusing to print to it giving me a KP error.
I've searched around for guides but cannot get It to work at all!

Any ideas on how to make it Work?

Many thanks.

You can't get it to work. The Uniwell KPs use a very specific protocol which no other 'standard' KP supports. The newer Uniwell tills are able to support standard KPs with TCP printing on port 9100, but your extremely old till can't be upgraded to support this.

You will have to source a Uniwell KP from somewhere (which is going to cost you a small fortune for what is, ultimately, crap hardware) - or better replace the system with something more modern and functional.

Blast.

Thank your for your fast response and answer.
Seeing the prices of the printers for what they are, definitely not worth it.
Time to look into a new system!
