Damn, I was too slow. I've had this too. Could have saved you the grief if I saw it earlier. The damn things seem to not know they have an LCD BUILT IN if you reset them. The one I had just did it without a bad battery so was even weirder.

What was the battery issue registerman? the company's got another one that just doesn't boot so I might need more info to look at it. I like to have as much info onboard as possible ;)
apparently the MB's on these are prone to switching off?

Main board was ok but BIOS just suddenly lost settings. As far as I know it's still running today
