I have two Sharp UP-3500 terminals that I am trying to configure.
I have a trial copy of Sharplynx software on a PC and I am trying to get it to communicate with the UP-3500's.
I enter PGM2 mode, then 2 setting, then 22 MWS CONFIG.
Instead of the MWS config window appearing, all I get is a beep!
Any advice on setting this up will be greatly appreciated.

Have you set up the terminal to be 'StandAlone with IRC' in SRV mode?

I got some help from lynxsoft and the comms are now working.
The advice I got is as follows:
1. Press [MODE]
2. 99999999 [ENTER]
3. [CANCEL] when LICENCE CONTROL screen displayed
4. [OK] on Unlimited Activation dialog
5. [3] IRC SET UP
6. [1] TERMINAL SETTING
7. [4] STD. WITH IRC
8. Enter a unique IP Address for the UP-3500 that is on the same subnet as your PC. Do not change the MWS PORT NO. setting … it should be 49152.
9. [CONTINUE]
10. [EXIT]
11. Make sure a Clerk is logged on
12. [MODE]
13. [6] PGM2 MODE
14. [2] SETTING
15. [22] MWS CONFIG
16. Enter the IP Address of your PC (leave other settings at default)
17. Press [ENTER] to step through fields until it exits the MWS CONFIG screen
18. [EXIT]
19. [EXIT]
