Sam4S ER-920 clerk buttons

Well, it's good news and bad.

The Good News
The hardware is the same around the world, so simply using the UK firmware would fix the problem.

The Bad News
Sam4S Technical support in the UK will only talk to their Cash Register dealers, so you won't get any firmware that way. The only access to it will be to go through a local cash register dealer who will have access to all the files you need ... however it is unlikely they will do it for nothing.

The only difference between all the ER-9xx models are the keyboard (flat / raised) and printer (single / double) configurations everything else is the same.

- Ensure you have a "C" key in the mode lock
- Turn to Service Mode - this is one turn passed PGM and is not marked
- Enter 70 SUBTOTAL
- Enter either: -

217 - Clerk 1
218 - Clerk 2
219 - Clerk 3
....
226 - Clerk 10

- Press the key where you need it to be
- Press CASH

Thanks for this, works perfectly to assign the clerk buttons but when in reg mode and I press one of them it just throws up a sequence error? I cleared the rom to begin with, not sure if its a setting that needs to be enabled for those buttons to work?

you cant just jump from 1 clerk to another - you have to sign off the active clerk first.

To enable clerk swapping you need to do the following.

PGM Mode - 30 - Subtotal - 23 - X/time - 1 - Subtotal - Cash

This will enable the clerk interrupt feature on the ER-9xx series
