Can anyone tell me how to disable a department on an ER5100?

I want the department to give an E1 Error when pressed so it can't be used incorrectly.

Instructions to open the department are
Turn to P press 0 press Sub Total press the item and press cash tendered

How do I do the opposite of this and generate the error?

substitute the zero in your example for 200 !thumbs
