As long as you have Static IP addresses on them then you should be just fine.

So if I set a static ip in each register then use a crossover directly till to till that would work.
Should the ip be set at the adapter end in windows or from within ICR touch settings?

Within Windows. TouchPoint simply tells you what it's connected to.

Do them as something like
192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2
Both with a mask of 255.255.255.0
No gateway

@S1mon Our attached MSR reader is faulty and have had to attach a external usb unit. With the attached reader the register would beep when a card was read and double beep if it failed, although the external works fine it makes no sound when a card is used. Is there any way to rectify this?
