I need to add a printer for drinks, how would I program it so only drinks assigned to tables would print (not drinks rung up at bar for customer pick up)...in essence a drink slip for waiter's?

It depends.

If you've got a bar till for normal service and a waiter till for entering table orders then you'd only enable the KP on the waiter till.

If you're looking at doing both things on the same till then it's more complicated. There is an add-on script which enables you to do that, but I'm not sure what the situation is when it comes to that without you having a dealer and some form of contract.
