Hi, my XN 750 has been in storage for a number of years. It has been well protected during this time and although I cannot 100% rule out damp ingress, I can say with some degree of confidence that it is unlikely.
I have taken it out of it's box and tried to boot it up.
I am getting a series of beeps that are 4 seconds long. The screen is not coming on and at this time
I'm assuming that the boot up process is not completing.
I have opened it up, removed and replaced ribbons to ensure connections have not oxidised. The inside, as expected is in pristine condition.
It has Actinic EPOS software installed and I'm also assuming this is not the issue.
Any help on how to proceed with troubleshooting would be appreciated.
Edit: included the length of time for beeps.
I would start by replacing the cmos battery on the motherboard.
