Hi all. Im new to this. Ive just picked up a Geler MP2t cash register for my shop. When I took ownership, it was completely programmed for another shop but worked. I tried to use the programming menus but the keys were all over the place and didnt even closely correspond to the programming sheets.
so...I did a hard reset, yes, I wiped the original programming from it. The good news is: The programming keys are in the right place. The old shops details have been erased.
I have tried some simple programming. So far. Date/Time, cashier names, clerk codes.
I now try to use the till to make some basic sales for testing. It either tells me that there is a keyboard error, or that a cashier key is needed. The online manuals are next to useless and though I have clearly made progress today, I feel like I am bashing my head against a wall.
Anyone want to guide me further please? Or even program my till for some beers?
