You should set it as an Epson TM-T88 type, and make sure the baud rate is set correctly as will as N,8,1

You’d need one of the back office systems to do that.

You’ve probably got something set up under “Non PLU Table” which is causing it to fear the price from the barcode.
Ask your dealer about this, and if they can’t help then find a decent dealer who can.
