Do you have the manual for either?
You will need to set the scanner parameters correctly to interface with the AX

Have done that is trigger the scanner but not transmitted

if its not transmitted to the till then you have not set the communications protocol correctly
you MUST match the baud rate and parity of both the scanner and the register. If, as you say, you have done that, then all that remains is for you to program in the barcodes
