Welcome to EpoS Wizard!
HX-4500
Hello All,
Thank you EPOSWizard for accepting me to this forum.
I am an owner of a Uniwell HX-4500 since 2017.
I bought it for its features (multimedia and remote capabilities)
I was looking for information for a long time now.
My seller tried his best, but is not able to.
I had to wait for 2 years to get the media player on this model, from him, called gcd.
I contacted Japan, but they directed me to somebody who never replied to my e-mail.
I have several questions, especially regarding networking. I hope I can get some answered.
Below are my 3 questions.
1. Which port is VNC using to connect to the cash register. I tried the default VNC port, it is not working. This is to change price or add price form distance when my employees call me.
2. Which network port (i do not wish to use RS-232 yet) is being used to connect the cash register to an NVR from exacq. This is to record all the transactions to the NVR, and see the articles being scanned in synchronization live and in playback.
3.In the Uniwell's website, it is mentioning Back Office for PC as follows:ePOS Office Lite - Back office software (Free). My seller is not able to provide me the software either. Anybody has it ? I have searched the internet but am not able to download it.
Thank you all.
A lot of that is very specialist, and if your local Uniwell dealer cannot help you then that says a lot about them, so you are probably better off trying to find another dealer who can help you.
I never used the HX series as they came out after I stopped doing Uniwell equipment I'm afraid. It may also be worth dropping an email to MicroTek in the UK to see if they can assist
Hello S1mon
Thank you for your reply.
I will try to find the equivalent here in Canada then, before bothering the EMEA team.
If i hit a wall , then I'll try. We never know .
Thanks again.
