Electrician had the electrics off, when they were turned back on this machine highlighted "on line" and a code on the right of the screen saying OLK. Somehow this machine thinks it is on line which we don't have. Machine wont let me do anything!!
Does anybody know if it just needs resetting? is it something to do with the battery?? would it have lost all the stock records??
Any help appreciated. An old machine which I don't want to spend a fortune on, would rather put the money towards another newer machine if its going to be a big job.

It has almost certainly lost everything due to a bad battery. It should be replaced every three to four years by your dealer.
Try checking the date and time. Sharps usually corrupt these when the programming is scrambled
