Hi, my boss purchased an abandoned building with two complete SPS-2000 POS units (Terminal, cash drawer, and receipt printer), and neither one will boot completely. One just sits at a Sams4s logo and a blinking cursor, the other one eventually makes it to a green screen but no further. I was able to hold down the power button while booting, but 1278 doesn't get me into any menu.
Is there any other way to reset these units that I'm unaware of? The touch screen on one doesn't seem to work, but if we could get one complete unit out of the pair it would be useful.
Just as an update: I was able to get in to one of them, then the LCD screen died shortly after (Or maybe the board did, haven't had time to swap them out). Turns out I have mild dyslexia and wasn't typing the correct code, which is 1287
