Hi Guys,

Does anyone happen to know what voltage the Cash Drawer port is on the above till? We are replacing some of these for a customer, but they want to keep their existing cash drawers, and I can't find any documentation as to whether it is a 12V or 24V port.

Thanks in advance,

Simon

If you are still stuck ask Yorkshire Cash Registers. TEL 01924-438238

I would have thought 12v though

Thanks for that. I thought that might be the case, but hoped not.

If they are 12V drawers, they should still fire from a 24V port anyway, they might just not last as long

we plugged a 12v cash drawer from langley into a 24v protech once by mistake, it worked for a little while but then stayed permanently pinging open then smoke starting pooring out of the cash drawer before we turned it off. now the till pings any drawer we plug into it as soon as it's turned on :( x
