easy2touch calibration or replacement
Anyone know how to calibrate? - screen is working but calibration out on whole screen
if you have disassembled it - make sure you plugged its connector in the right way round - it works either way but the calibration is way off if reversed .
There are various models of easy2touch out there and each one calibrates differently - also be aware that some model screens may require a BIOS version change before the display will work, the tell-tale sign is a white screen during boot up.
All replacement screens will need to be the right type and calibrated once installed.
TS600 - DSDN Screen - this is a dull screen who's brightness can be controlled by a little wheel at the side
TS600 - TFT Screen - this is a bright screen and the wheel does nothing
TS700 - TFT Screen - this is bigger than the TS600 but only came with one type of screen.
Calibrations: -
All of the below require you to be in DOS Mode
TS600 - DSDN - this is the trickiest and the oldest so probably not this one
Press F5 on the beep during startup
Press Enter twice
Enter - CDTOUCH
Enter - ELODEV 2210,3,9600,11
Enter - ELOCALIB -m12 -s+ -u+ -q
Touch the three points on the display
TS600 - TFT
Press F8 on the beep, answer Y to all prompts except BLANKSCR.EXE and APOSTS.EXE
Enter - CDTOUCH
Enter - SETUP
I think once setup has been done, you need to enter GO to run the calibration program
Note: the baud rate is 9600, Com Port = 3 and the IRQ = 11
Note 2: When prompted "Calibrate 800x600" select NO otherwise the screen will go blank and you'll have to start again.
TS700 - TFT
Press F8 on the beep, answer Y to all prompts except BLANKSCR.EXE and APOSTS*^.EXE
Enter - CDHAMMOUSE
Enter - CALIBRAT
follow the on screen prompts
