error 94 on 240ER - any ideas?
i'm not familiar with casio error codes or even if they are the same from model to model?
any help would be appreciated
Done tons of them. Printer failure. Usually gears mis-timed. Have a look on gears and you'll see timing marks (triangles etc) that line up with other gears. Turn main gear so they all line up and see if any marks are out of alignment. Usually the tiny gear near the top jumps a few teeth or has teeth chewed out. If you need timing details I can hunt through my bits, but usually self explanatory once you turn the gears.
are they like the old 57mm 355 epson printers with gp24 red/black ribbons?
if so, i know exactly what you mean.
or are they like a desktop calculator - with 3 type wheels on a sliding carriage with an ir40 ink roller? if so, its going in the bin!
[not seen it yet]
Yep. the ones with group24 ribbon. you got it.
