hello,
i've got a Uniwell UX-45F.
Know I have to know with which pc software i can do the programming of this cash register? Are there some free progams for it?
I also need a manual for this machine - can anyone send me a copy if the documents?
Maybe are there any other tips or tricks I have to know?

I have the same cash register and a similar problem. I can hardly programm it on the register itself.
The previous owner has about 370 articles programmed which I want to get rid of.
I heard that there is a software called PLM2000. Can this software do the programming or is there something better around.

Yes PLM2000 is a great little utility to program any Uniwell Cash Register, I'm not sure were you'll get it though as you cant really buy it as such, you can only get it from Uniwell dealers.
Why can't you program it? what problems are you having?

I managed to download the PLM2000 utility through the website mentioned here in the forum (thanks so far for this info).
But I am getting timeout messages when I try to connect. using the date and time function. I can see something goig on on the display, but after a while I get a communication error. When I try to connect the UX-45 through the connector which is more to the middle, I get a DLL error (EVa Comm error unicom.dll).
I found out with a kind of quick start manual I have, that my baudrate is set to 9600 (FP 37) and the terminal address is A (FP 36. But what about the BCC, timeout PC (FP 39) and timeout answer (FP40)?
The UX-45F is using the DDS firmware version 1.3
