I have just acquired a TX 870 06. The programming is slow but sure but its really annoying as a screen saver keeps popping up every few seconds. How can I firstly switch it off, and secondly change it to something more relevant in the future.

Hi,
It cannot easiliy be changed unless you can get hold of a specific uniwell utility which is purely for changing that screensaver. You can turn it off though, if you go into the programming menu and select 113 - System Function Flags. Then if you scroll down to Flag 131 - LCD Control and change bit H at the top to NO by pressing ENTER on it.
