Hi guys
Just had a callout to a local pub where I installed a sx700 years ago.
Apparantly the cash register stopped working yesterday afternoon model Uniwell SX700.
Screen is showing
RA?>
IR DONE
SETUP REQUIRED
Time and date seem fine.
Does it need reprogramming from scratch? Any ideas what may have caused this?
Also i've tried logging on but dont have the stroke keyboard layout to help me login.
The red led next to the uniwell logo is flashing.
Any help guys i'd appreciate as I cant get till to do anything.

Also if anyone has any simple pc programming tool that would be most helpful.

after a while, the batteries fail - that's certainly where i would start check that the batteries read 3.6volts after being unplugged for an hour-
BEFORE SPENDING AN AGE REPROGRAMMING

As far as im aware no one has disconnected mains supply to till, will it still loose everything if internal battery has failed.
I take it it is completely useless now as it says Setup Required???
Is there any basic software available to program these or do you think a new till is the option????

the phrase " i had a call out" suggests that you are either an engineer or salesman?
or have i got my wires crossed?
