Hi all,

Glad I found this place, it's been a good help so far....

So what I have is a problem... Bar opens tomorrow night, they've been let down by their till supplier and I've been given the task of sorting out the problem.

In my arsenal, I have a template for a keyboard in Word... A Supervisor Key (stamped S), a modified RS-232 cable (using wiring diagram I found on here), PLM2000 and a till which says on screen:

IR DONE
SETUP REQUIRED
FLASH ROM - v1.10d

OK, so I gather I need an engineer's code, and to access the menu to tell it port settings for RS-232 B on the back, but how do I do that? I was planning on sleeping some time, I doubt that's going to happen though.

I do have the PLU's sent through though, on a text message that's 5 pages long......
