First of all hi to all. Have done much reading on this wonderful site - very informative!!
I have recently bought a Uniwell PX-5750 as part of a business's fixtures and fittings. It came with the operation manual but no programming manual 
I have found how to program the items into the keypad, however am struggling with a couple of things.
1. I cannot program the PAY OUT key. I have checked the system flags and they are fine. I select 101 and then go to PAY OUT. It all seems to go ok but when I sign back on and press the new payout key, nothing happens.
2.I also have 'TAX1 TAX2' etc showing on the bottom of the receipt and have tried removing these from the system flags (which works) but when I go out of the menu, it reverts back to how it was (not saving). Any idea why the payout andflags do not save?
I have contacted a reseller who ran through the settings and could not understand why it doesnt save and now wants between £40-£60 to program it. Uniwell are unhelpful and don't want to know.
Can i purchase the manual from anywhere or can anyone here help?

Its a while since i worked with a 5750, are you keying in a value first prior to pressing the payout key (no decimal point), what sort of tone do you get when the key is pressed and is there any error message ?

Once you have changed the settings are you pressing the X/Enter key to confirm changes on the whole flag ? This is a common mistake that is missed ?

I think the TAX1 etc has been sorted as you correctly stated I wasn't pressing 'X2' after setting the flags, thankyou
With the PAYOUT, my till actually didn't have the payout function set, so I went through the menu and set it. However, again it is as if it has not been set. I have tired pressing the 'P/O' button i programmed first then the amount and vice versa, all I get is the 'low' beep to indicate an incorrect key have been pressed. there is no error message.
For some reason, it will not store a payout button. As before, I must be missing something to 'save' the key location but cannot find what it is!

Are there any Uniwell engineers/resellers willing to sell a copy of the programming manual?
