Hi,

Can the 895 handle daily till reports that say how much a promotion item or specific PLU has sold? I need this to be run at till level and printed off.

I see there is a seq PLU report that allows you to search for a PLU number (first and last) and then prints how much have been sold. However I don't know whether this is a daily sales figures or a collective figure. I've run the Z read to see if it clears it but still holding the 5x the items I'm searching for, is this cleared daily by the till itself or is there a way of clearing this at the till.

Also is there a better report for showing how much has been sold of 1 PLU item daily?

Thanks

You should be able to take a Z41 report to show individual item sales, alternatively you could do a Z47 report on a particular group of PLUs... so if your Promo items were all configured for the same group (e.g Group 1) then a Z47 report on Group 1 would show how many of each item in Group 1 you've sold.

The X & Z reports on the DX work in the following way;
X Reports allow you to view/print a report without clearing down any figures
Z Reports print and clear down the figures.

There are also 2 levels of reports on these machines (in most cases) - so you can have for example Z47 report as a Weekly report and Z48 as a Monthly/Periodic report - Z47 is taken with the key in the Z1 position in the keylock, Z48 in the Z2 position in the keylock

One thing to note would be to do the Z47/Z48 before you start counting, as there will already be figures stored there from previous sales.
