Hi,
I have a uniwell 895 that has lost its program (irc.....) I need to push down another via ftp
However it won;t let me plug in the IP address, everytime i do it (SP201 - IP ADDRESS) the number buttons go black and I cannot put inan IP Address, in turn I cannot ftp because it's not on the same range as my laptop.
HELP
Also curious as to why it reset/wipe the program
I sounds like you might have got corruption - any power problems there that could have caused a spike?
I'd start off by carrying out a full RAM Clear - do a proper Initial-Reset and then 9901 from the IR position. See if you can then set up your IP address, IRC info etc.
If SP9901 and standard prog does not reslove your problem.
You will need to reflash your temrinal with a default flash file.
PM if you require info.
Personally I would ram clear (9901) and then do a 9999 to put the basic program in. As you can get into the programming side of things I would suggest that you dont need to re-flash.
A 9901 would be a good idea, followed by a 9999, follwed by maximums #112 followed by identifiers and IP address and also I believe there is a system funcion flag which controls Use programmable IP option, but it has been a while and I would need to find me Manual to double check.
