Hi, I have been trying to re-program my tills and using PLM 200, Ive made a cable to spec and i can communicate and upload/dowlaod the EDF file, when i modified the existing one it didn't look as i wanted it, buttons missing etc

I have init all data to reset to factory setting, now my PC can't upload the program info from PLM2000.

is there a setting i am missing ?

Cheers, Chris

Hi
Are you familiar with making changes to the system function flags directly on the till?
If so it is likely to be your comms settings and the board rate.

Let me know if you need more specifics as I will confirm the flag numbers etc.

Cheers.

Hi Till Doctor

Comms settings and baud rate are set correctly on PLM2000

I had to reset the comm port to comm 4 originally because I was using a usb to RS232 converter, this has worked fine, until i reset to factory settings, SP-9999

But i think you may be talking about system flag on the till, if so, then no I haven't done them before.

Regards, Chris

Hi,

Yes it will be the till itself that has lost the comms settings.

Do you know the engineer code to access the programming menus? If so ill list the settings for you.

Cheers

Hi Till Doctor,

Yes I know the engineer code

I tried looking through the menu codes to see if there was a comms section, buit not one listed, obviously a hidden one then !

Cheers, Chris
