Hey,

So I have figured out how to change already existing buttons. But cannot figure out how to add new buttons. I have empty fields to put buttons. I have a programming manuel but it just tells me what the program functions names mean, not what to do with them.
Help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Hi,
The quickest, simplest and easiest way to add PLU's into Touch screens, or other Uniwell systems is to use the relevant software packages available.
This may seem a cop out, but to manually enter New PLU's onto a system can be right royal pain.
With a new PLU you have to give it a dedicated PLU number, which then is linked into a specific group, you then eventually attach the PLU to a position on the screen.
You also have certain flags associated with the new PLU, ie VAT, how it will be priced, printed to where, etc. The List goes on.
With the right package, it just means once you have your *.edf (plm2000) file, you can do everything in a matter of minutes, with little or no chance of making a mistake.
As explained before, the software packages available will save you heaps of time and are well worth the investment in.
Kind Regards
Paul
