Hello,

I have recently changed my menu and I am using ePos sales connected to a TX 875.

I have placed the modifier 1 button on the keyboard and input prices on the modifier 1, ticket the permit modifier 1 on the PLU flag. This was all done on the software, I then sent it to the till (all data) and after testing it I found I got an error message "No modifiers".

It turns out that the PLU flag 2 had reset to 0 (not allowing modifiers) when the PLU data was sent to the till.

I can manually change the flag from the till menu however this is very time consuming and also when I update the PLU from the software the PLu flag 2 gets reset to 0 again.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Michael White

You seem to know what you are doing, as flag2 of the PLU is about the only flag in these tills that deals with modifiers.

My question is has the software ever sent the PLU info down correctly??

My reason for asking is if the wrong till type has been setup in the software (TX850/870 hms or 03 or 06) If your till is an 06 and the software is an 03 then this will put flags in the wrong place. PLU flag 2 would end up as price level 5.

If this is not the case there are tools that should be able to fix the software, the indexs might be out of line.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply and sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have been on holiday and I will be back later today. As far as I can remember all PLU data has been sent correctly. This has only ever been price and name.

I have a feeling it must be the setup as I seem to remember looking at the PLU info and seeing the modified price in another field.

I shall check later today and report back.

Many thanks again.
