Table Plan Problems

Hi I have 4 dx895's and 3 kitchens printers setup on an IRC ethernet network. I have problems when my bar become's very busy i.e. get lots of pink tables, or table cannot be picked up on another ecr. I have around 100 tables setup. I try all the usual 8800, x8881 to get tables back in sync. Works for a while. Don't get this problem during less busy times i.e. Afternoon's.
This morning when doing x8881 fromm table plan server I got clks appear against one till, usually I get busy status if a tills logged on etc. I took off floating clerks thinking this would ease network traffic between tills and kp's. Anyone got any other suggestions. I've increased track headers and lines to 500 and 2000.
