also just thought since till 3 is new is it the same version as the other two should be able by doing a reset and it should be displayed if not check in sp9902

Thanks Beezer, just checked and the new till is an older software version (V1.11a) and the others are V1.15.
How can it be upgraded?

you will need a serial lead,a copy of plm and a copy of the 1.15 flash file in order to upgrade
alternativly
it is possible to send the flash from one of the other tills using sp8888 (not listed so you will have to type it in)
However beware I have only done this on a 915 so cant garantee it will work on the 895
I would dissconect one of the good tills first then do a sp8800 to link the 2 remaining tills
then do the sp8888 once finished link them all backl together
also you may find the till you upgrade may come up with setup required and you will have to re input the settings and reprogram it from your good till (best to make a note of them before you start)
all in all not for the faint hearted
