Hi I have a sx7505 which keeps bleeping with "customer A" flashing. This is a single printer ecr. It has a green head up lever which is down in its normal position. If I do an IR, it still comes up bleeping, but if I turn it off it stops and then starts again if I press the feed button on the ecr. The printer looks like its functioning mechanically, as the cutter spins on reset, and the paper feeds through when its takes its in initially.

Not sure what is wrong here, I've checked ribbon cable and reinserted both on back of printer and on the small board.

What is customer A and customer B message mean?

Any advice would be handy. Thanks.

Customer A and Customer B messages relate, as you've worked out, to the printer

It might be a fault with the thermal head, the paper sensor, the cables, or the control board.
