Hi,
As long as you are satisfied that your edf file you have as a backup is OK and not corrupted,
then a complete reset and then reinstall should fix the issue.
Any changes you have done since your backup, obviously wouldn't be there, ie added PLU's and prices, but the final decision is with you.
The procedure doesn't take long, and would save a lot of hours otherwise trying to fix it.
Kind Regards
Paul

Hi,
Sorry my bad,
Resetting the till is what i was meaning, not your back office software.
Reset the problem till, then back load ( PC to ECR ), and you should be OK, given the file you are dumping to the SX is OK.
Have had to do this when our clients till system lockup or get corrupted beyond repair by normal means
Kind Regards
Paul.

If the till crashes on the Z99 then your better off clearing the sales data. The till will think its back to zero but wont have lost its program.

If you ram clear the till you will need to set all the standard settings in the till up first before you can transfer the program into it from your PC.

Be carefull!!
