hi all

i have a uniwell sx700 and everytime i try and poll it the dam thing just freezes the epos system

it goes through all the other repoarts fine but never completes on the z99 just hangs

i have gone into the engineer mode and done a manual z99 to clear it but the problem still persists any ideas or just wipe the till and start from scratch

regards

Tony

If its crashing on the z99 then that is corrupt in the till.

You would need to take the Z99 manually at the till. This will clear it out and enable you to carry on collecting reports.

Hi,
If the Z99, (EJ Read & Clear) isn't working, then the next step is to reset all you figures back to zero, if this doesn't work then sounds like the edf has got some corruption in there.
If you have a backup of your data, just back load from a good known point in time.
If the tills have the same program data on them, you could grab the data off one of them, back load and be OK with a few minor changes.
Resetting the till back to zero requires certain knowledge not generally given out to the public.
Kind Regards
Paul
