Hi
i have recently had to install the old tills into a new pub for the owner, the network setup is different its uses 7 individual lines instead of an irc network,
i have manged to turn this into an irc network now and the 6 tills talk to each other fine. i cannot get the pc to talk to the new master even though its been enabled in the software and the cable is plugged into the till.
any ideas on this?? is there any settings in the till that need changing.
also adding printers into the irc network wont be a prob as il just add another box but i need a actual kitchen printer to send food orders to the kitchen, do i just add this to the network and which flags do i change so that food orders are printed out in the kitchen but no drinks orders????

well ive got all the network up and running and food on the tills
but i cannot get the kitchen printer to work please can someone help,
im using the rj45 as the printer only has that socket on the back, all the printers are the same
if any one is interested as the admins didnt seem to help
i made my printer id number 5, i then changed one of the flags in kitchen printers(113 i think then 40) to yes on kitchen printer 5. when adding food, go to keyboard/prices/item name ie chips and tick the box that says send to printer 5
and hey presto done.
