Those 3 buttons you held down are the emergency ram clear.

you need to do a 9901 line down to the bottom of the list and press enter.

Then do a 9999 to set the demo std program.

You will then need to set everything up again. Flags, Maximums, machine id etc etc etc

If your using ethernet, make sure you setup these flags up 1st before setting up the maximums.

Sorry dude lot of work to be done!!!

At present nothing is working.

no keys working, alarm still going although it is just a red box on screen now.

Any ideas how i can get it back to a stable position or is it just a large paperweight?

Cheers

Basically the RAM clear has made the till think its back in Japan.

The program that was in the till has been cleared and until a 9999 is performed you wont be able to set anything up.

You need to turn the key to SP
Remove you colour keyboard and use the standard Uniwell keyboard.
enter the engineers code, press clerk id
Type in 9901 and enter
Line down to the bottom of the list and press enter.
The till will count its RAM as before.
Press Clear at the end.

Type in the engineers code again and press clerk id.
type in 9999 and press enter.
Press enter again.

This will put a british demo program into the till ready to be programmed but you have a lot of work to do to get it back to the state before the ram clear.

You may still find you have the HEAD Up problem as the sensor may be broken.
