Reset Uniwell EPOS

I have just bought a business and inherited a DX 895 till connected to Uniwell EPOS software.
Unfortunately I have no manuals to help me.

Is it possible to reset the software so that only my takings are in the totals rather than carrying on from the previous owners?
Preferably I would delete everything before 11 December.

Many thanks for any replies.

I found this after a bit of searching about increasing the VAT on the till and presume I will need it to make other changes.

Can anybody point me in the right direction with my original question on resetting the till to zero for the total earned prior to me taking over the business?

im sure it displays a human readable message buy the side of the code on the display TAKE EXTREME CARE - IM SURE ONE OF THOSE IS A FULL RAM CLEAR!!!!

the service code you posted is incorrect btw [not allowed to post that code on here, Uniwell go nuts!]

Thanks for your help Andy.

After a bit more research with your info it looks like 9901 is a reset to factory conditions which is probably the clearing of the RAM you spoke about.

Are the codes generic for all Uniwell tills and would this be the method I'm looking for?

1. To reset all totals ,
2. Key to SP - 9891 x .
3. Print to say all sales clear.

yup looks like 9891 is what you need, though the method posted here will not work for your model
you need to enter service mode to access the codes - check your messages :)
