Hi

I took the opportunity of buying a secondhand/recon SX700 to use as a backup in case of failure of one of my existing x5 sx700 tills.
It has the same firmware as the existing ones.
My other tills are identified as ECR1, ECR2 etc and I'm guessing that as long as I manually program/copy the basics from one of the existing tills (eg baud rate etc) then I'll be able to run EPOS OFFICE and it'll program it....(?!)

Was wondering which system flag do I change to change the til ID ie ECR1 ECR2 etc to enable it to 'fit in' to my system to be picked up when I run the software/pull reports without causing problems?

Many thanks

Kinichi

you will have to set it up as a slave till in epos office and set the till up to be able to be included in the irc if that is what you are using, under identifiers key to sp enter engineer code program functions enter 200 enter then that is where you have to set till number so i presume ecr6, that will set the till

if you look at older posts they will tell you how to set up baud rate etc and enable irc
