Hello !wave all,

New to the forum so this will be my first post. I have some questions regarding kitchen and receipt printing on Uniwell systems, (forgive me if this has already been covered)

Initially I tried to configure an RS232 TM-T88III which I had no success with, the pin out used on Uniwell's isn't the same as standard? May consider buying/making a cable with the correct pin out as an alternative...

Anyway as I had a networked receipt printer to hand I decided to try and configure that instead. The Uniwell and the printer both have static addresses on the same subnet, the Printer test also works successfully from the POS:
-------------------------------------------
PRINTER TEST
ECR 001 ---> KP1 <RP1 >
------------------------------------------

Can you walk me through all the flags that need to be set to get this printer working as Receipt and or KP? I've spent quite some time reading the manual trying to work out what the hell I've done wrong!

The simplest way is to use SP-9996 and follow the setup. Create it as a KP first with the correct number (I'm assuming you're on 192.168.1.x), then create it as a receipt printer as well.

As for the Uniwell cable, if you need one then PM me and I'm sure we can work something out depending on where you are?

Thanks Simon,

When I select "Kitchen Printer" in easy setup I'm selecting: [TP-9xx (TCP] -----> [KP: 1] Then select "END" and "CLEAR", to confirm the settings I'm clicking "Show Result" Which displays the settings I've just selected and the IP of the printer. The IP that it is displaying is wrong (defaults back to the (192.168.1.x) range. Also at this point it changes the IP address of the till back to the same range causing the printer and till to no longer be on the same subnet lB
