Hi all,

I have programmed a SX-8000 :D , I have set a button to receipt off but it will not stop the printer from printing :( . The screen text shows it is off :) but it still prints out on each transaction :( .

Anyone got ant ideas how to solve this :?: .

Hi :D

The only thing I can think is that a system option is overriding the Receipt Settings.

If you logon as the engineer is SP and go into 113 - System Function Flags, then select Flag 06 - LCD Control and check what you have set for bit D - If you have YES then try changing it to NO. You may also need to change bit E but I would try it first.

If this has no affect then can you tell me exactly what printer you are using and how it is connected, ie through ethernet or RS232 etc.

Thanks

Have tried that but with no luck :( . The printer I am having trouble with is the one built into the till (SX-8000).

Hi Mick,

Is it definately a receipt that is printing out and not the journal or something like that?

Cheers

Hi,

Not sure, on each press of an item the printer prints that item.
On pressing cash it throws out a printout of what has been pressed.
