Hey guys I am trying to connect my PX6750-03 to my laptop I have set up the com ports it seem correctly, when I try to get ECR data its starts the whole process then I get a ECR Time-Out Error.
I don't quite know whats wrong I do remember have to set the machine to pc-comm mode on the unit itself but I can't seem to find this setting.
Any help will be appreciated.

It sound like only some part of the program is going to the till and not the rest.
I've had this issue before and realised that some of the till program showed some sort of corruption.
What I suggest select Communication>Send ECR preset data>Custermize and select the first few boxes to send down the till and down that to the till, if successful do the next batch and so on. Soon you should find that a particular function box causes the till to error.
In this way you have narrowed down the problem and atleast you can set this up manually (if required) on the till.
Also from experience (assuming you have a PX flat keyboard and not a stroke keyboard) I intended not to send down anything to do with the following;
Customer file
Lookup option
Lookup menu shift
Stroke keyboard Hard PLU
Stroke Keyboard Layout

Going to give that a try thanks and will post results, on my previous laptop and cable never experience such a problem but this new laptop and cable that I am using now seems to giving a problem.
