PLM 2000 - what the hell am i doing wrong

Hi Guys

I have linked my SX 7000 to my PC via a Uniwell lead and have checked comms by sending date and time- all seems ok

I then try to collect ECR data (make EDF). The till beeps and shows the "In Communication" text and, on PC screen, i get the text "Collecting Data-Please Wait" After a couple of minutes the till beeps and it loses its "In Comms" text which comes back 15 - 20 seconds later. After a couple more minutes i get an error message on screen saying "ECR time out error" or something similar.

I have checked the online help file and i think everything is set correctly but i guess i must be missing something.

Can anyone show me the error of my ways

1st off which version of sx7000 are you running, 03 or 06?????????
