set them all to no

but still cant get th pc to talk to it

i do have one till unplugged and that s the old master as it hard wired through the bar top

can i put the other one back ? as the network wont be complete or doesnt it matter

i click init irc it runs through to 32 then tries to print but i have not set the flags correctly yet

thanks for the email.

issue i have is when i go into sp and do the intial reset it says ir done but still comes up with setup required

i cannot log into the tills with the engineers code just the power light keeps flashing like its in a standby mode

Hi,

That's not a good sign, If you do the initial reset, then turn wait 30 seconds or so, then turn the key to R and wait 30 seconds or so, then turn back to SP can you log on as engineer? If not does it actually beep when you press keys?.

If still nothing give this a try:

Turn the key to SP
Turn off the power
Hold down the top left key and the 2 keys below it (So the first 3 keys vertically down from the top left)
Turn back on
Then try login on again.

well you are a genius the ram test bought all the till back to a usable state

they are all numbered up like you wrote

i have 2 left which are 8500 with different keyboards

can i have some details for that

i can talk to till 1-9 as they beeped when i tried that time/date

it stops on 10 and 11 then goes slowly up to 32
