help, needed, setting up plm2000 for sx700,

please can anyone help.
I`am trying to set up plm2000 with my sx700 tills, got the usb to serial dp9 cable,
connected the laptop to the till via serial lead to port B, try a time and date send, times out after 4 minutes.

read the help file in plm2000, it says i need to change some flags,??????

this is where i have come to and i am stuck on what to do next, can anyone give me some instructions or help, two days of trying.

also it says i need to change some setings in plm 2000. but to what.???????
and where.

can anyone help.
