It has been said on here many times that USD charge the dealers to reset codes.

So the dealers can not just give you a code as it will cost them to get it reset.

The 30 day code will only last for a certain amount of time.

The pen drive issue was sorted about 6 years ago which also co-insides with being able to do away with licences. All of the latest licences you cannot hack.

Why don't you just bite the bullet and pay for the licence to be re-done with a dealer.

we have tried but the licence has been black listed so they will not issue anymore on that licence due to the owner falling out with the previouse company who installed the tills over this code issue lol

he refuses to pay for the same software again, so im kind of buggered then he moans that the tills arent polling lB

Talk to a different dealer. They will still charge you to fix your license but use the opportunity to update to the newest version. I can't imagine USD blacklisting a license. Seems like a bad decision from a business standpoint.

Either way, you guys are running a business. You already have the equipment. Fix this small issue and continue working.

You don't go out and buy a car and when you get a flat tyre a year later you send it to the wreckers... You can't drive it until you fix the tyre but in the grand scheme of things it's a small expense to be back up and running.

The only way you would get blacklisted is if you use the same code in 2 sites, meaning you haven't paid for software no2. Not saying you have btw but you did say something along those lines on here about 2/3 years ago.

As dealers we only make money by selling software. We wont make anything for re-issuing codes. It does however cost to us dealers to get codes re-licenced, so nothing is for free.

You must have tried to get this re-licenced for 2 separate sites from different dealers or something, unfortunately it all catches up on us in the end. I wouldn't like to have been the dealer who issued your code.

Nope enquired about two sites years ago and was told we had to purchase another software package so it wasnt done. Then the owner fell out with them over costs. We had a new company go for a replacement licence, they are the ones who said it was blacklisted for two sites even though it has never been on two sites apart from the backup disc I put in after it crashed
