Hi All

i have a copy of epos office that is installed on works pc but not activated, so basically i need to get hold of a activation licence, i purchased one 2 years ago for £95+vat because we werent under maintenance contract but that being used on another system.(have tried but wont accept it lol). They now want £250 +vat for exactly the same thing.

any ideas either to get around this or know where i can purchase a cheaper licence

Ok so here is your problem USD (Uniwell Software Developement) hold support contracts on all licences. Each dealer pays USD a fee for support for the year or to get a licence unlocked. Either way a fee is involved to USD. These are not cheap and USD do not give them away for free.

Depending on which dealer holds your support contract depends on whether anybody else can get you licence re-licenced.
